Adirondack Geographic Workshop

As part of our summer program for promoting geography in our state, the New York Geographic Alliance is proud to announce that we will be partnering with the renowned Adirondack Experience to hold a one-day workshop at their museum in Blue Mountain Lake on July 9, 2020

This will be an all-day event. There is no fee for registration, but you need to have your application approved by NYGA in advance. Lunch will be provided. We are still in the early stage of planning this workshop. There will be instruction in the morning by teacher-consultants from the New York Geographic Alliance and by staff of the Adirondack Experience. There will time to tour the museum to learn more about the special culture of the mountains. We are working on arranging credits for participation in the Adirondack Geographic Workshop.

Registration online will be available in March. In the meantime, if you have questions about this event, please contact Timothy McDonnell, Coordinator of the NYGA or call our office at (585)-292-2398. To learn more about the Adirondack Experience, visit their website
