New York State Geographic Bee

Location: 222 Madison Avenue Albany NY 12230

The New York State Geographic Bee will be held at the New York State Museum in Albany on April 9, 2010. Only students who participate in the Geographic Bee at their own schools, and who pass a written exam qualify for this competition.

The Bee, at all levels is conducted by the National Geographic Society. For more information, visit the official Geography Bee website (see below).

The general public is invited to the final round of the competition, but not the preliminary rounds. Gale Sookdeo of NYGA is the coordinator of the bee, working with National Geographic, and Tim McDonnell will MC the finals.
